I just returned from attending the SXSW Interactive mega-conference in Austin, Texas, which brings together some 30,000 people from all over the world to discuss technology, trends and the future. With Danish Design Centre we participated with a small delegation to gather inspiration, network and last but not least host a panel discussion titled "Discovering the Nordic design DNA".
The event itself is hugely inspirational, but the real value lies in all the people you talk to and the insights you obtain simply by casual conversation all across the city during 5 days of the conference. We have condensed some of it into a series of blog posts (unfortunately only in Danish for now) that cover some of the main themes:
"Robot design should please humans"
"The business potential of Internet of Things"
"How to design for no interface"
"Mass robot customization: An upcoming revolution in the garment industry"
