Liquid Borderland – festival for liquid digital art – has started

Yesterday we started the Liquid Borderland festival in Platform4, which will run until next Saturday, Aug 29.

With open workshops, lectures, jam-sessions and an hack-space LIB will provide a framework for collaboration, inspiration and development of ideas, concepts, methods, hardware, software, and the opportunity to form networks across geographical and professional boundaries, artistic activity and interest.
The workshop and hack-space week is open to all who are interested and registration is completely free. You can either attend the whole week or just the things you find the most interesting.

During the week you can meet, work with and get inspired by Alexandre Rangle aka. VJ Xorume (Quase-Cinema live image workshop), Steffen Lyhne/Lars Kramhøft/Esben Andersen (Animation principles and design for animation and visuals), Sune Petersen (VJ content - the aethetics and visual aspect of VJ'ing + Workshop: Generative Visuals contra sample-based visuals and live feedback-based effects), Alex Birklykke (Arduino - Micro-controller and Arduino programming language), Thomas Wisbech/Martin Lynge (Introduction to and demonstration of L.A.S.E.R Tag and the framework Open Frameworks), Mark Juul Nielsen (Light Painting - Camera techniqs and light gear), Claus Hvass (Spectralconverter - Frequency differentiation between sound and light), Sebastian/OMA (Tag tool) and Esben Skouboe Poulsen (Textures in flux - How media has changed our ability to experience space).

- as well as experience performances by Aleksi Perälä (FI), Karsten Pflum (DK), Buffer Underrun (DK), Impakt (NO), Noia Niz (DK), Keld Tolstrup (DK), Insert Name Here (DK), Østsmadder Sound System aka. Bo Bastic & Thomas Bedsted (DK), Bu Bu Kitty Fuckers (DK), Trolle & Rosenstand, Jonas Asp (DK), Bang Bang Club (DK), Maskine (DK), Megafarlig (DK) as well as Urlyd signed artists Danny Kreutzfeldt (DK), Jacob Schmid (DK), Yngvesin (NO), Kiloton (DK) and soon to be, Con Ink Moniker (DK)

The festival is open to the public from Saturday Aug 15 to Saturday Aug 22 from 15.00 to 22.00 - with Friday Aug 21 and Saturday Aug 22 parties going until late night. Drop by
