Organizing film screening: “Exposing the Invisible” pt. 1-3 in collab with Tactical Tech Berlin

As Science Friction, Open Knowledge Foundation Denmark and Creative Commons Denmark we are proud to present a free screening of the "Exposing the Invisible" documentary trilogy from the Tactical Tech crew in Berlin, who has kindly authorized us to screen their film.

The documentary series showcases investigative citizen reporting around the world using new technologies to expose corruption, war crime and financial fraud. From the War in Syria to off-shore tax havens, from corruption in Israel/Palestine to drone killings in Pakistan.

"The digital age has profoundly transformed the way people find and share information. The Internet is enabling collaboration between activists, hackers and journalists on an unprecedented scale. This has led to previously unimaginable possibilities in investigative reporting. People are newly empowered to uncover hidden information, expose corruption and bring the truth to light.

Through a series of short films, 'Exposing the Invisible" tells the personal stories of those working at the new frontiers of investigation.

We explore their tools and methods and learn how they manage the risks of information activism. The project also offers a range of resources to help activists protect themselves and their work."

I've done promo-posts on the Creative Commons Denmark blog and the Open Knowledge Denmark blog.
